Owners of the Tails of Sydney book will recognise Keely and Gryff from their spread of photos at Victoria Park. Sadly, their second time in front of my camera was because Keely was terminally ill and her owner wanted to capture more memories before she passed.

I’d very recently started offering studio sessions so we started there with my favourite pink backdrop.

Keely’s loved to swim at the beach so we headed there for the second part of our session. Dry photos had to be quick because she was chomping at the bit to get in the water!

Just like Zari when she was this age, Strike was an excellent little model.

While she did have a great tilt, her brain tumour made it more of a permanent thing.

Keely passed away not long after our time together, she was only five. Run free gorgeous girl.
