Who do you call when you have a black puppy that’s “impossible to get nice photos of”? Well thankfully Zoe’s owners called me because puppies are my absolute favourite!

I give my studio session clients a choice of two colours and Zoe’s people opted for white and grey so we used props to add some colour.

At only 16wks old Zoe was still very much an easily distracted puppy but she learned the ropes quickly. The beauty of my studio is there are no distractions and dogs that aren’t fully trained can be off lead without any risk of them running away. There is a high risk of me offering ridiculous props though, and I’m not one bit sorry!

While Zoe is a family pet she mostly belongs to this young lady, so we did a few photos of them together at the end of the session. It’s so important to hit the pause button and capture these memories while they’re both young. I guarantee you in 12mos this time in their lives will seem like a distant memory.
