A few years ago I had the pleasure of photographing Tasha & Hendrix – both in my studio and on location. Their people had been following me since they adopted Hendrix as I’d done his adoption photos a few years prior.
They reached out to me recently to ask about Bruno’s cancer journey as Hendrix had been diagnosed with lymphoma. I sent them a bunch of info and he started chemo straight away. They also purchased the Cancer Dog Series and put Hendy on a strict ketogenic diet.
Due to the circumstances they decided to do another shoot, somewhere both dogs would be more comfortable – at their weekender in Bowral. Since we lost Chopper to lymphoma within 3 weeks of his diagnosis I was quietly expecting the worst as I drove to the shoot. I didn’t need to at all though, he was in flying form and looking great.
