I forgot to post these photos from Butters and Ninja’s muddy playdate with Norah the Toller and Mollie the Border Collie back in November. They had so much fun!
The name of our WhatsApp group is Speedy Speedsters. We all met at the K9Fun pack walk but over time it became obvious that Butters is an acquired taste and these two ladies were the only ones who didn’t find him to be a complete arsehole, so we have our own little spin off group now. (Ninja goes on walks with the other group, this private land is the only place where I let him and Butters off lead together.)
These two play quite rough but it’s a fair fight. Ninja is always the instigator and then Butters gets in trouble for using his size advantage to hold his own.
This was our first time there so Butters wasn’t a swimmer yet (he is now) and he decided his job was to wait on the edge of the dam and ambush anyone who was trying to get out of the water. JERK!
It was a fairly overcast morning but then there was just enough sun to backlight the water droplets in this photo. Love it.
If your dog can’t be trusted in unfenced areas or off lead around other dogs talk to me about renting this location for your photoshoot. It’s five acres, fenced, no dogs or people on the neighbouring fencelines and has a dam. It’s a bit of a drive but so worth it.
