I hadn’t photographed any Kelpies since Tails of Sydney and then suddenly three (and a Kelpie mix) all came along at once! You’ll meet Ellu at a later date, because this post is all about Charlie and Shaker, two Canberra Kelpies that are in foster care with ACT Rescue and Foster. When I was down there recently, doing my Autumn sessions, I photographed these cuties to help them get adopted and also to be featured in the 2019 ARF calendar.

Charlie is in foster care with my good friend Alyssa from Canine Compass so he’s impeccably well trained and was an absolute joy to photograph.

Shaker has been in foster care with another very good friend, Dallas from Pups4Fun, since she was about 4 weeks old. She’s a very busy little lady and all she wants to do is work, work, work!

These dogs are looking for homes where they’ll continue to receive all the mental stimulation and training that they crave. A sport dog home would be ideal. Feel free to share this around if you know of anyone looking for such a dog.
