I met the owner of Dogzdayz dog walking a couple of years ago at a pet event in the Entertainment Quarter. We later exchanged emails regarding a shoot for her dog Princess, but then the plug had to be pulled as she required expensive cruciate surgery. When I got an email from her owner a few weeks ago I was delighted to hear that she was all better now and ready for her shoot. As Princess is a water baby we went to their favourite beach and proceeded to have my most action packed session yet!

Meet Princess <3

We started with a few portraits before she got all wet and sandy. Not many though, because she was chomping at the bit to get chasing her brand new squeaky red Kong ball that I bought her.

And did I mention there was digging? There was LOTS of digging!

After two hours of running, swimming, digging and jumping, 9.5yo Princess was finally read to sit still for some glamour shots.

I don’t know about Princess, but I sure slept well that night!
