I also made this reel, which is a harsh reminder that I really should do some of those video courses I’ve purchased over the years!
A day or two later I got a message from a follower on Instagram asking if she could meet Trax, that he’s exactly what they’re looking for. I did a little profile stalk and had a feeling that this was going to be the perfect home I’d been hoping for.
Fast forward to today and I sit here typing with tears streaming down my face. Today, after almost four months in care, we wave goodbye to this very good boy.
Typically when we foster puppies they’re only here for 3-4 weeks but adoptions are slow at the moment so even highly adoptable puppies are taking longer than usual to find homes.
Trax is pretty perfect and gets on really well with Ninja and Butters so it would’ve been very easy, and not remotely out of character for me, to decide to adopt him. But we don’t want a third dog right now. When Angel and Chopper passed away, and we just had Bruno and Butters for a while, we realised that two is a nice number.
It’s going to be hard to say goodbye to Trax today but he’s going to a wonderful home. He’ll be close enough for occasional playdates too so it’s more of a “see ya soon” than a goodbye.
Many hours have gone into training Trax to be a good model so I put him to work before he moves out. This Ruffined Designs collar will be listed in the Ready to Ship section shortly.
In the meantime you can help satisfy my need for puppy cuddles by booking a photoshoot for your new arrival. Click the button below for more info.
