Vulcan’s owners won my prize in the Staffy Rescue mega fundraiser. Even though they live in Melbourne they wanted to make it work, so they drove all the way up to Sydney especially for the shoot. [Funnily enough, the last Staffy that I photographed, Betty, also belonged to raffle winners!]
Isn’t Vulcan just the cutest damn thing?
I think he looks a bit like Monkey from Monkey Magic in this one… humour me!
His smile is infectious.
Like any self-respecting Staffy, he was a big fan of the squeaky Cuz toy!
He needs a cape.
Although his superpower clearly isn’t catching the ball mid-flight!
Part of their prize was a custom-made collar from Ruthless Leather. They chose a wide Urban Cowboy, but we’re still waiting for the correct crystals to arrive before I can post a proper product shot. This is just a sneak peek!
After all that running around he was tuckered out and ready to sleep for the whole drive back to Melbourne.
