Mel was given a gift voucher for a photo session when she left her job at Hanrob many many months ago. She lives in a unit that doesn’t have a huge amount of natural light so she was hoping to train her cats to be ok outside. It didn’t go so well, so last week I took a deep breath and went to her apartment and hoped for the best! I don’t know what I was worried about, the cats were absolute pros and the light really wasn’t that bad. The only thing I wasn’t prepared for was the amount of scratches I’d be bringing home. I guess Happy Paws Training Treats are irresistible for cats too. And in fairness, it was wayyyyy past breakfast time!

Sid was a huge fan of the “look at the camera, I give you a treat” routine!

Vana preferred to be admired from a distance.

Imagine my joy when I was told the cats were allowed outside on the balcony! It made for a great backdrop.

I hope you like your photos Mel and Dean!

Thank you all so much for your help with Petey’s vet bills. He’s recovering well. His leg is still healing but the vet hopes he’ll regain full use of it within the next two to three weeks. When he does I think we’d better batten the hatches because he’s currently a speed demon on his three good legs!! Further updates will continue to be posted on the Puppy Love Rescue Facebook page. We anticipate that Petey will be ready for adoption towards the end of October.

Unfortunately I found a way to wipe the smile off Petey’s face… an Elizabethan collar. He’s definitely not a fan!
